Especially with dry maize, layers can quickly form in the fermenter, making the contents inhomogeneous. Simply stirring is often not enough. By breaking down structural components, progas® flow not only ensures a more homogeneous mass in the fermenter but also increases gas production. The substrates used are converted into biogas more efficiently.

progas® flow releases nutrients

A portion of the nutrients is trapped within the fibre structure of the substrates, making them unavailable to the bacteria in the fermenter. The enzymes in progas® flow ensure rapid fibre breakdown, providing the bacteria with more nutrients for gas production. By increasing the breakdown of fibre mass, viscosity is improved while the amount of digestate is reduced at the same time.
