The contents become increasingly thicker, and stirring alone is no longer sufficient. progas® fibre supports the breakdown of fibres, resulting in a more fluid and pumpable mixture in the fermenter while also enhancing gas production. The substrates used are converted into biogas more efficiently.

When maize silage is replaced by grass silage or GPS, many processes in the fermenter change. The biological process first needs time to adapt to the new substrates. The enzymes in progas® fibre ensure rapid fibre degradation, making the transition easier for the bacteria and providing more nutrients for gas production. By breaking down more fibrous material, viscosity is improved while the amount of digestate is reduced at the same time.
