protec silo coating protects concrete or plaster surfaces in the silo

protec silo coating is a strong partner for concrete, plaster and masonry. It was specially developed to protect green fodder silos. It is also highly resistant to silage acids and, thanks to its good quality, does not form a sticky surface.

Thanks to its purified solvent, protec silo coating is food-safe and therefore also well suited for drinking water containers. If you have cleaned the surfaces thoroughly and allow the individual coats to dry thoroughly, a service life of 2–3 years in the silo can be expected under normal use.

Application

The surface must be dry and clean. protec silo coating is applied evenly with brushes/paint rollers or sprayed on using an airless sprayer (drying time until dust-dry: approx. 1 h). For spray application, the coating can be mixed with white spirit or a universal thinner. The quantity depends on the surface, the nozzle used and the pressure. We therefore recommend determining the correct consistency for a good result on a test area. Before applying the recommended second coat, the surface should be allowed to dry for one day, depending on the weather conditions and the thickness of the coat. Use white spirit for cleaning.
