protec silo coating – protects concrete and plaster surfaces in silos

protec silo coating is a strong protective solution for concrete, plaster, and masonry. It has been specifically developed for protecting forage silos. It is highly resistant to silage acids and, thanks to its high quality, does not form a sticky surface.

Due to its refined solvents, protec silo coating is food-safe and therefore also suitable for use in drinking water tanks. If the substrate is properly cleaned and each layer is allowed to dry thoroughly, a service life of 2–3 years in the silo can be expected under normal use.

Application

The surface must be dry and clean. protec silo coating can be applied evenly using brushes or paint rollers, or sprayed using airless spraying systems (drying time approx. 1 hour). For spray application, the coating can be diluted with white spirit or a universal thinner. The amount depends on the substrate, nozzle, and pressure used. We recommend determining the correct consistency on a test surface to achieve optimal results. Use white spirit for cleaning.
