Our calf feed mymom rumen muesli supports optimal rumen development in older calves. The special feature: It is based on our mymom muesli plus and can be offered from the 5th week of life without any complex feed transition. Thanks to its fibre components, the calf benefits from the full power of alfalfa: rich in protein, highly palatable and particularly beneficial for optimal rumen development. Another highlight is the maize pops, which are already included in mymom muesli plus and are especially well accepted by calves. In addition, all components are gently processed, preserving nutrients and making them easy to digest. This provides the calf with all essential nutrients without overloading the digestive system.

Fiber for the rumen

Fiber-rich feed creates a mechanical stimulus in the rumen and is therefore essential for rumen development. In addition, it promotes fiber-digesting microorganisms, which are particularly important for digesting later rations.

Alfalfa is not only palatable – it is also easily digestible and provides valuable protein. The length of the fiber components is adapted to calves to ensure optimal effect: long enough to stimulate the rumen and ensure sufficient retention time, but short enough to be readily consumed.
