The importance of trace elements in biogas

Biogas trace elements are now an essential component for ensuring stable digester performance in biogas plants. Accordingly, a wide range of different products and specialised blends are available.
The general requirement for biogas trace elements in a plant is usually known. With simple analysis, the supplementation needs of a plant can be estimated. However, one thing clearly distinguishes trace element mixtures: there is no possibility to objectively compare prices. How does that come? The ingredients are usually not openly declared. We do it differently. We declare all ingredients and formulations clearly, publicly and comparably.

progas power p ch (in granular form, EDTA-bound, TRGS-compliant)

progas power p ch provides a specifically balanced mixture of essential trace elements for use in biogas plants. Nickel, cobalt and selenium are particularly required. Through the complex binding of the individual trace elements to EDTA, a safe-to-use trace element product is created that can be dosed into the fermenter of the biogas plant in compliance with TRGS regulations.

Which trace elements are the right choice?

An analysis from the fermenter is ideally the best basis for deciding whether, which and how many trace elements can be used effectively to support biological processes. Individual mixtures are possible, but also costly. Experience shows, however: in 90% of cases, the proven formulation of progas power p ch is completely sufficient to ensure the required supply of biogas trace elements.
