jbs cattle yeast 5-10 b – Probiotic feed supplement with oregano for organic farms

jbs cattle yeast 5-10 b contains live yeast that is coated with a layer of inactive yeast during production and then formed into stable granules. This keeps it protected until it reaches the rumen – where it unfolds its effect and improves fiber digestion.

Brewer’s yeast, sodium chloride, and essential minerals serve as carriers. In addition, oregano oil is used. It acts as a natural flavoring and dust binder, while also inhibiting the growth of harmful microorganisms. Oregano also contributes to strengthening the immune system, as it has antioxidant properties.

jbs cattle yeast 5-10 b contains: live and inactive yeast, sodium chloride, minerals, and oregano oil.

Feeding recommendation

Dairy cows: 20 g per animal per day
Start approximately 4 weeks before calving and feed continuously throughout the entire lactation.

Fattening cattle: 35 g per animal per day

Rearing calves: 10 g per animal per day

Regularly push up fresh feed and ensure high feed quality. This ensures that the animals take in sufficient energy.

Packaging: 20 kg bag

Results from practice with live yeast supplementation:

Cattle that received jbs cattle yeast 5-10 b with live yeast and oregano showed optimized processes in the rumen, lower lactate levels, and higher fatty acid concentrations. These changes indicate improved rumen stability and a reduced risk of acidosis. Due to the higher energy yield from feed and increased glucose levels, milk production increased.

At the same time, the BHBA level in the blood decreased. This value indicates how well the metabolism is supplied with energy. A low BHBA value means that the animals suffer less from a negative energy balance and therefore have a lower risk of ketosis. This confirms that live yeast with oregano noticeably relieves the cows’ metabolism
