The combination of mymom start and mymom profimix significantly reduced calf mortality on a trial farm that frequently struggled with diarrhea caused by cryptosporidia.
By administering two doses of mymom start during the first two days after colostrum intake and an additional feeding with mymom profimix from day 3 to day 10, the calves were able to build their immune system to such an extent that they grew up without severe disease progression.
Gut health was supported to the point where the cryptosporidia could no longer find a foothold in the digestive tract.
