In the first days of a calf’s life, the immune system is particularly vulnerable and requires intensive support. Calves that are weaker or have difficulties getting a good start are especially at risk of developing diseases, as their immune system is not yet fully developed.

The most important factor at the beginning is therefore the intake of high-quality colostrum. However, this is not always guaranteed. Our mymom start paste can bridge exactly this gap. Another issue is iron deficiency in calves, which can lead to anemia, as the body’s reserves are depleted during birth. Iron for calves is therefore particularly important to ensure a healthy start.

Iron for calves

mymom start is a specially developed paste tailored to the needs of calves in the first days of life. It helps strengthen the immune system during this critical phase and stimulates digestion. Especially weak calves benefit from the administration of mymom start. The paste contains iron, which is not only an essential component of blood but also plays a key role in immune defense. It actively supports the formation of antibodies – without iron, pathogens can spread easily and the calf becomes ill. Neither colostrum nor whole milk contains sufficient iron to replenish depleted stores. In addition to highly available iron, our mymom start paste provides further support: cow colostrum helps minimize immunity gaps, vitamins support overall animal health, and black cumin oil and probiotics stimulate digestion.

Composition and feeding instructions

Black cumin oil, colostrum, sunflower oil (refined), whey powder (sweet), lactose, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, carob bean flour, wheat starch, vegetable fat (refined, rapeseed), calcium carbonate

For optimal iron and colostrum replacement supply, give the first dose after the first colostrum intake and the second dose 12–24 hours later.

Per dose = 25 ml (set using the dosing ring on the plunger scale),

per calf total = 50 ml = 1 paste.
