With trilen Twin white, the main film and underlay film are combined on a single roll. This allows both films to be applied over the silo in one efficient working step. The film should be loosely placed on the silage material according to the installation instructions so that it forms a fermentation gas cover and adapts to the uneven surface of the silage. Rising CO₂ from fermentation naturally presses the underlay film onto the silage. Stretching the film too tightly increases the risk of damage from trampling and can later lead to air channels forming. For optimal protection, silage protection nets and silage bags should always be used around the edges and as cross weights. The film is available in various sizes to cover different silo dimensions.
