OXY Barrier Underlay Film – the thinnest protective layer with maximum oxygen barrier

Why use a barrier underlay film?

Oxygen can promote the growth of yeasts and moulds and nutrient losses. The OXY Barrier UZF 45 µ reduces oxygen permeability to just 0–3 cm³/m²/24 h and thus provides the basis for stable, nutrient-rich silage.

Application

1. Place loosely on the silage immediately after compaction
2. Allow 50 cm overlap, smooth out folds
3. Main film on top, silo protection net & silo bag barriers around the perimeter and across the silo every 5 m.
Tip: Replace tyres with gravel bags – seamless barrier, no film damage caused by steel wires from weathered tyres.
