OXY Barrier Underlay Film – The thinnest protective layer with maximum oxygen barrier

Why use a barrier underlay film?

Oxygen is the main driver of yeasts, mold, and energy losses in silage. The OXY Barrier 45 µ reduces oxygen permeability to just 0–3 cm³/m²/24 h, creating the basis for more stable, nutrient-rich silage.

Application

1. Place loosely on the silage immediately after compaction
2. Allow 50 cm overlap, smooth out folds
3. Apply main film on top, use silage protection nets and silo bags every 5 m as transverse barriers

Tip: Replace tires with gravel bags – continuous barrier, no film damage from steel wires.
