Mycotoxin binder – reliable protection

orgacell sc mb combines the beneficial properties of live yeast, inactive yeast, and phenols with the aflatoxin B1 binding capacity of bentonite.

Bentonite and phenols

Both substances have an immediate effect on cell counts: these often decrease after just a few days. In addition, bentonite can reduce the urea content in milk. Phenols, on the other hand, can improve fertility.
Prerequisite: regular feeding of orgacell sc mb over a longer period.

Yeast supports animal health

A well-functioning rumen is the basic requirement for a healthy, high-performing, and fertile cow. Yeasts have therefore long held an established place in animal nutrition. Numerous trials demonstrate effective results in fiber digestion, performance, and health.

The live yeast in orgacell sc mb consists of granules in which the living yeast cells are coated with a layer of inactive yeast. This ensures that the live yeast only becomes active in the rumen and is protected from air, moisture, and fermentation acids until then.

Fiber digestibility

Despite the relatively low daily dosage, yeast has a significant effect in the rumen. After approximately 4 weeks, improved fiber digestion becomes visible: fewer feed residues are found in the manure. This means more nutrients are available to the animal.

Feeding

Dairy cows: 20 g per animal per day
orgacell sc mb should be fed from 4 weeks before calving and throughout the entire lactation until the dry period.

Fattening cattle: 35 g per animal per day

Rearing calves: 10 g per animal per day

Packaging: 20 kg bag

All measured values improved significantly:
Lower lactate and higher fatty acids indicate a reduction in acidosis risk and optimization of rumen processes. At the same time, higher fatty acids result in improved energy yield from feed. Together with increased glucose levels, this leads to higher milk production. The beta-hydroxybutyrate value (BHBA in blood) indicates energy balance. The lower value shows that live yeast relieved the cow’s metabolism.

FAQs about orgacell sc mb

orgacell sc mb is a complementary feed for cattle that combines live yeast, inactive yeast, bentonite (mycotoxin binder), and phenolic flavoring compounds. It is used to stabilize the rumen, especially under stress conditions, supports feed intake, and relieves the liver.
Bentonite is capable of binding aflatoxin B₁, a commonly occurring mycotoxin in silage. By binding it, the absorption of this toxin in the digestive tract is reduced, which can lead to a decrease in milk urea levels and an improvement in fertility.
The recommended daily dosage is:• >Dairy cows: 20 -30g per animal per day • Fattening cattle: 35 g per animal per day • Rearing Calves: 10 g per animal per dayFeeding should begin 4 weeks before calving and continue throughout the entire lactation until the dry period.
Live yeast supports rumen microbes and improves fiber digestion, while inactive yeast serves as a high-quality protein source and supports gut health. This combination promotes animal health and performance.
Field trials show that feeding orgacell sc mb improves rumen function, which is reflected in increased milk yield, more stable cell counts, and improved energy utilization from feed.
The required amount of orgacell sc mb is added once daily to the mixer wagon together with other dry components such as mineral feed or grain. If no mixer wagon is available, the mixture can be applied as top dressing over the feed. In a premix, orgacell sc mb remains stable for approximately 4–6 weeks, thanks to the protective coating of the live yeast, provided the mixture is stored dry.
