Our mymom milk replacers and whole milk supplementary drinks are specifically produced for calves. They are not by-products from the food industry – as is the case with many competitors.

Typically, valuable components such as lactose, lactoferrin or immunoglobulins are extracted from raw materials (whey, skimmed milk) for use in human nutrition, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics, because they are highly marketable. However, calves then lack these important nutrients. mymom milk replacers are specially produced for calves in such a way that all valuable components are retained:

In the production of standard milk replacers, all liquid components are usually mixed together and dried directly at high temperatures, which significantly reduces digestibility.

For our mymom milk replacer, the raw materials are gently dried at low temperatures. Thanks to a patented manufacturing process in which hot fat is sprayed onto the powder, a fine fat network forms around the milk powder particles. This ensures high digestibility of both fat and protein.

No problem: the guaranteed immunoglobulin content speaks for itself. These highly digestible proteins not only provide essential protein, but can also bind and neutralize pathogens directly in the gut.

Immunoglobulins are essential for protecting the calf. Fresh colostrum contains the highest level of immune factors, which is why this first milk is so important. Our mymom pur milk replacer contains a guaranteed level of immunoglobulins derived from bovine colostrum. This is only possible because the raw materials are processed very gently. In addition to providing extra antibodies, immunoglobulins also supply high-quality protein. Even after the gut-blood barrier has closed, they can still bind and neutralize pathogens in the intestine. This means they continue to protect the calf locally in the gut—especially during the early phase when the calf’s own immune system is not yet fully developed.

Most people are familiar with the effects of essential oils—whether from cold baths or eucalyptus lozenges. We make use of these benefits in our milk replacer. They support respiratory health, aid digestion and are highly palatable for calves.
Thanks to a patented manufacturing process (spray cooling), mymom milk replacer develops a unique structure. This allows fat and milk components to be digested simultaneously. In conventional milk replacers, fat is often encapsulated within milk components, which is counterproductive, as fat provides energy that is important for digestion but is not immediately available in that form.
The common belief of at least 50% is not correct. A high-quality milk replacer is defined by the quality of its raw materials, not just the skimmed milk content. However, this quality is not always visible from the label. Components such as immunoglobulins indicate gentle processing. With high-quality ingredients, even 30% skimmed milk content can be sufficient—as proven by mymom pur for years. The key: less skimmed milk means more whey, which offers excellent benefits for calves.
No. Since the whole milk supplement must be mixed separately and then combined with whole milk, it is only suitable for bucket feeding and milk taxis. For automatic feeding systems, our milk replacers mymom pur and mymom pur 55 are ideally suited.
Mix 145 g of powder with 1 liter of water and combine in a 1:1 ratio with whole milk. The milk replacer dissolves best at a mixing temperature of 50–55 °C.
Probiotics colonize the gastrointestinal tract, displace harmful germs and pathogens, and produce enzymes that support the digestion of solid feed.
This depends on the individual farm, as our milk replacer is flexible in use. Experience shows that a large agricultural cooperative starts feeding mymom pur directly after colostrum from 2. day 3 onward. This helps ensure optimal hygiene, supports calf development and reduces the risk of early diarrhea. Other farms switch from whole milk to mymom pur after 2–4 weeks, which also works well.
