Biogas trace elements are now an established part of ensuring reliable digester operation. Accordingly, many different products and special mixtures are available.
The general requirement for biogas trace elements in a plant is usually known. Through simple analysis, the plant’s additional requirements can be estimated. However, one thing makes it considerably more difficult to assess trace element mixtures: there is no way to objectively compare prices. Why is that? Liquid trace elements – EDTA-bound and TRGS-compliant

Through the complex binding of the individual trace elements with EDTA, a safe-to-use trace element product is created that can be dosed into the fermenter of the biogas plant in compliance with TRGS regulations.

Which trace elements are the right choice?

A digester analysis is ideally the best basis for deciding whether, which, and how many trace elements should be used to support biological processes.
