mymin lick block for cattle with Garlic

Fly control & mineral supply in one

The mymin lick block with garlic can help protect animals from heavy fly infestation during the summer months. The garlic odor is released through the animals’ skin and can help keep annoying pests away. At the same time, the combination of minerals, macro and trace elements helps prevent deficiencies and supports healthy growth in young animals. The lick tubs can be easily placed on pasture or at the feed table. Do not feed to lactating cows whose milk is intended for human consumption!

The proven lick masses are highly palatable and are therefore readily accepted by the animals. In addition, the lick masses are highly weather-resistant and robust against environmental influences.

Application rate

Lick mass for free-choice intake, up to 1% of the daily ration.

FAQs about mymin Lick Block for Cattle – Garlic

What is the mymin lick block for cattle with garlic and what is it used for?

This lick mass is a mineral- and trace element-rich supplement for cattle (e.g. young cattle, fattening bulls and suckler cows) that is used extensively during the summer months to help repel insects, particularly flies. The garlic it contains has a fly-repellent effect through the animals’ skin. At the same time, it improves the mineral supply. Not suitable for lactating animals whose milk is intended for human consumption, as the garlic flavor may be transferred to the milk.

What advantages does the lick block with garlic offer compared to conventional mineral lick blocks?

It combines fly control through the garlic effect with the supply of minerals and trace elements in one product. It is highly palatable and weather-resistant, making it ideal for use on pasture or in outdoor areas. Especially suitable for summer and grazing periods when insect pressure increases.

How should the lick block be used and how much may each animal consume?

The lick block is offered for free intake. The manufacturer specifies an intake of up to 1% of the daily ration. It is best placed at the feed table or on pasture in the form of a lick tub or bucket. Not suitable for lactating animals whose milk is intended for human consumption.

For which animals is mymin cattle lick mass with garlic suitable, and for which is it not suitable?

Suitable for young cattle, fattening bulls and suckler cows. Not suitable for cows whose milk is intended for human consumption (lactating cows) – the milk may be affected in taste by the garlic.
