Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, usage data (e.g. IP address, date, time, amount of data transferred) is transmitted to us or our web hosting provider and stored in server log files. Processing is carried out to ensure the proper operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to third countries outside the EU for which an adequacy decision exists.

WhatsApp Business

When contacting us via WhatsApp Business (WhatsApp Ireland Limited), we collect your mobile phone number and any additional data you provide to respond to your request.

Data transfer: Your data is transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. Meta is vertified under the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF).
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract reference) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing simple communication, right to object applies).

Personal data processing in connection with a whistleblowing system

If you submit a report via our internal reporting channel, we process your data (name, contact details, message content, information on violations) in order to fulfill our obligations under the German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG).

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjuction with section 10 HinSchG.

Storage period: 3 years after completioon of the procedure.

II. Customer Account, Orders and Shipping

Customer Account

When creating a customer account, we collect your personal data to improve your shopping experience and simplify order processing.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (your consent). You may withdraw your consent at any time; the account will then be deleted.

Data Collection and Processing for Orders

We collect your data as necessary to fulfill and process your order (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Email direct marketing: Your email address may be used to send advertisements for similar goods/services you have previously purchased, unless you have objected (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object at any time.
Postal advertising: Your name and address may be used for postal merketing unless you object (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object at any time.
Mailing service: We use **rapidmail GmbH** (Wentzingerstraße 21, 79106 Freiburg, Germany) for newsletter managment and statical analysis (tracking pixel, tracking link). The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You have the right to object.

Review, Comments and Availability Notifications

Comments/Reviews: We collect name, email address, text and order/customer number for publication and verfication (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent). IP addresses are stored to prevent misuse.
Review reminders: Sent by email after purchase only if you have** explicitly consented** (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Availability notification: One-time email notification when a product becomes available, provided you have consented (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

IV. Tracking, Analytics and External Services

Google Analytics 4 and Ads Conversion Tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads Conversion Tracking (Google Ireland Limited) to analyze user behavior and measure the effectivnedd of advertising.

Technology: cookies, web storage, tracking pixels. IP addresses are shortened beforehand (pseudonymization).
Advanced Consent Mode: Even where consent is denied, user data is transmitted to Google in the form of “pings” (without IP logging) for the purpose of data modelling.
Data transfer: Your data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under TADPF.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, revocable at any time)

Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising and TikTok Pixel

These services are used to display interest-based advertising on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and generate conversion statistics.

Meta Pixel: Meta Platforms Ireland and we are jointly responsible for the collection and transmission of the data (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Meta is certified under TADPF.
Microsoft Advertising: This service is used to measure the effectiveness of advertising (conversion tracking). Microsoft is certified under TADPF. (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR – consent).
TikTok Pixel: TikTok Technology Limited / TikTok UK are jointly responsible. Transfers of personal data to third countries are based, inter alia, on standard contractual clauses (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent).

Cookies and other Plug-ins

Technically necessary cookies: Used without your consent to ensure website functionality
(Section 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – you have the right to object).
Borlabs Cookie: Used to document your consent to data processing and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Social Plug-ins (Facebook, Instagram): These plug-ins are only activated upon your explicit consent. In doing so, your IP address and information about your visit are transmitted to the servers of the respective providers (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent).
Händlerbund Logo: When you access our website, temporary server log files are stored by Händlerbund (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Storange Period and Right to Lodge a Complaint
