The excretions of our farm animals are full of nutrients, as the feed is only partially broken down. Difficult-to-digest fibre components usually end up completely in the slurry and can lead to the formation of floating layers and poor viscosity. lagoon reduces the fibre content and noticeably reduces odour formation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Better flowability, less effort<\/h3>\n

The bacteria in the lagoon manure treatment agent use the nutrients in the slurry and produce fibre-degrading enzymes. These break down solids and reduce the formation of floating layers, crusts and sediment layers. This significantly reduces the energy and time required for stirring and pumping and ensures a more uniform consistency. This makes the slurry easier, more precise and more efficient to spread in the field \u2013 close to the ground and plant-available. <\/p>\n

Less odour, more nutrients<\/h3>\n

Another advantage is the significant reduction of the aforementioned odour. Through the biological breakdown of nitrogen-containing compounds such as ammonia, valuable nutrients remain bound in the slurry instead of escaping into the air as odour. This not only improves the fertilising effect but also increases acceptance among local residents due to lower emissions. <\/p>\n

Safe manure treatment<\/h3>\n

lagoon works in a natural way and is safe for animals, the environment and equipment. It can be used in all slurry storage systems \u2013 whether open lagoons or closed concrete tanks \u2013 and also works at low temperatures. In addition, lagoon helps reduce flies. Less odour means fewer flies, which leads to calmer animals, less stress and better performance, especially in summer. <\/p>\n

Application & dosage<\/h3>\n

lagoon is a freeze-dried powder made from live microorganisms. Application is simple: mix 5 g of lagoon per m\u00b3 of slurry into 10 to 20 times the amount of water. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the barn: Pour the lagoon solution between the slats or into the pit while the agitator is running. Apply every 14 days.<\/p>\n

Slurry storage tank: Pour the lagoon solution into the filling hose\/pump hose and pump it into the tank together with the slurry (e.g. lagoon or concrete silo).<\/p>\n
