In addition, bentonite can reduce the urea content in milk. Phenols, on the other hand, can improve fertility.
Prerequisite: regular feeding of orgacell sc mb over a longer period.

Yeast supports animal health

A well-functioning rumen is the basic requirement for a healthy, high-performing, and fertile cow. Yeasts have therefore long held an established place in animal nutrition. Numerous trials demonstrate effective results in fiber digestion, performance, and health.

The live yeast in orgacell sc mb consists of granules in which the living yeast cells are coated with a layer of inactive yeast. This ensures that the live yeast only becomes active in the rumen and is protected from air, moisture, and fermentation acids until then.

Fiber digestibility

Despite the relatively low daily dosage, yeast has a significant effect in the rumen. After approximately 4 weeks, improved fiber digestion becomes visible: fewer feed residues are found in the manure. This means more nutrients are available to the animal.

Feeding

Dairy cows: 20 g per animal per day
orgacell sc mb should be fed from 4 weeks before calving and throughout the entire lactation until the dry period.

Fattening cattle: 35 g per animal per day

Rearing calves: 10 g per animal per day

Packaging: 20 kg bag

Field trial results (Czech Republic)

Control

Live yeast

pH-value

6.4

6.6

Lactate

16.4

9.3

Fatty acids

104.7

112.0

Ø Milk yield ECM

37.0

39.4

Glucose

3.2

3.3

BHBA

0.6

0.5

Source: Mohamed Mammeri von Phileo

All measured values improved significantly:
Lower lactate and higher fatty acids indicate a reduction in acidosis risk and optimization of rumen processes. At the same time, higher fatty acids result in improved energy yield from feed. Together with increased glucose levels, this leads to higher milk production. The beta-hydroxybutyrate value (BHBA in blood) indicates energy balance. The lower value shows that live yeast relieved the cow’s metabolism.

jbs cattle yeast comparison

Content

Feeding

jbs cattle yeast 4/10

Live yeast (2000 × 10⁹ CFU), calcium carbonate, calcium-magnesium carbonate

From 1–2 weeks before calving throughout lactation until the dry period at 20 g per animal per day.
