A TMR offers the perfect conditions\u2014especially when water is added. Mixing also introduces oxygen, creating ideal conditions for yeasts and fungi, particularly at warm temperatures. For the feed, however, this marks the beginning of spoilage. As a result, not only does feed quality decline, but animals also quickly notice and reduce their intake.    <\/p>\n<p>The consequences: reduced feed intake leads to insufficient energy supply, ultimately resulting in lower milk yield and reduced milk components.
