Today, biogas trace elements are an integral component for binding sulphur and safeguarding the fermenter function. They play a decisive role in methane production in particular. <\/span><\/p>\n

The general requirement for biogas trace elements in a plant is usually known. Through simple analysis, the plant\u2019s additional requirements can be estimated. However, one thing makes it considerably more difficult to assess<\/span> trace element mixtures: there is no way to objectively compare prices. Why is that? The ingredients are generally not openly declared. We do things differently. We clearly declare all ingredients and formulations publicly and in a comparable way. <\/span><\/p>\n

Liquid trace elements \u2013 EDTA-bound and TRGS-compliant<\/span><\/h3>\n

progas power w provides a specifically formulated mixture of essential trace elements for use in biogas plants with a proportion of manure of 30% or more. Even though manure introduces more trace elements into the digester, some are still required to produce biogas efficiently. Through the complex binding of the individual trace elements to EDTA, a trace element product is created that is safe to use and can be dosed into the digester of the biogas plant in compliance with TRGS. <\/span><\/p>\n

Which trace elements are the right choice?<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n

An analysis of the digester is ideally the best basis for deciding whether, which and how many trace elements should be used. progas power w is suitable for all substrate mixes with a higher proportion of manure. These also always introduce more sulfur into the digester. Therefore, also check the iron requirement to prevent the formation of insoluble compounds between the trace elements and sulfur. The additional use of iron hydroxide such as OXIRED BIO 50 is recommended to ensure that the trace elements remain available for the biogas process. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
